(Of course when that album came out I had a crush on a guy who had just got back together with an ex-girlfriend… nothing came of it, but when you are 20 lyrics have a certain resonance.) If it hasn’t been mentioned yet, I recommend Little Milton’s “Let Me Down Easy.” Listened it for MONTHS after my divorce. Yeah, my ex “let me down easy,” but that didn’t ease the grief and anger and betrayal I felt. Great song & lyrics, though! ---
