Say, two or three ingredients. Peanut butter and jelly, of course, although everyone has a favorite jelly. (Mine is strawberry rhubarb.) But my very favorite is what I’m having for dinner right now: hummus (didn’t even make it!) with smoked turkey on pita. Mmmm! ---

I’ve never had liverwurst in my life! Much too sheltered, I’m afraid. Maybe I’ll try it soon, now that I know what to put on it… I love a good BLT, too. Of course, I also just love a pure bacon on bread…lots of bacon, any kind of bread. ---

My dad always liked tomato and mayo on white bread. I prefer my tomatoes without bread, but I think it’s a favorite for a lot of people my parents’ ages. ---

Aged cheddar between two slices of whole wheat or rye bread. Micro-wave until the cheese is melted. Peel apart, add dill pickle slices, re-close. Serve with a glass of tomato juice or a bowl of canned tomatoes (recommended but not required). ---

The correct answer is grilled cheese. If you want some meat on it, use corned beef. Trust me. ---
