Ok, so it’s that time of the year again…all that yule time spirit…Santa shows up with a case of bubbly…spreading cheer and clinking glasses. What are some favorite toasts and graces of the Teeming Millions? I personally enjoy,“May we live as long as we like, amd like as long as we live.” & “Na zdorovia!” (Russian for “Cheers!” …my roommate is Bulgarian) Santé!!! S. p.s. anyone know where to pick up a bottle of Rakija in the Seattle area? ---

I studied in Italy for a while and the Italian guys got a huge kick out of this one. “Here’s to honor. Gettin’ honor and stayin’ on her.” I just thought it was kind of stupid. ---
