Wring is confusing two different Dirty Harry lines: “Go ahead; make my day,” and “I know what you’re thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, I can’t remember myself in all this excitement. So you have to ask yourself a question: ‘Do I feel lucky?’ _Well, do ya, punk?_” How 'bout Rowdy Roddy Piper from “They Live”? “I’ve come to kick ass and chew bubble gum … and I’m fresh out of bubblegum.” Yeah, it was cheesy. So was the movie - in a good way. ---

Another Clint Eastwood line from _The Outlaw, Josey Wales_. After he’s shot and killed two bounty hunters who are pursuing him, someone askes him if he’s going to bury the bodies. Clint looks at them and says: “Buzzards gotta eat. Same as worms.” ---

Eli Wallach, from _The Good, The Bad and The Ugly_, after a bounty hunter bursts in to Wallach’s bordello room as Wallach is taking a bath. The hunter goes on and on about finally killing Wallach, at which point Wallach shoots him from inside the tub: “Next time, don’t talk. Shoot.” He actually has a rule in _The Roger Ebert Little Movie Glassary_ now. ---

Yet another Clint Eastwood line from Unforgiven Gene Hackman: “You just shot an unarmed man!” Clint: “He shoulda armed himself, if he’s gonna decorate his window with my friend.” I’m sure there will be corrections if I didn’t get that quite right. ---

I think it’s in The War Wagon. John Wayne (Taw Jackson) and Kirk Douglas (Lomax) turn around and shoot the two bad guys at the same time. Lomax: “Mine hit the ground first.” Jackson: “Mine was taller.” ---
