# Favorites That Everybody Else Hates

Anyway, I agree, Dalton is second only to Connery.

My choices:

–Val Kilmer is a fine actor (sometimes).

–Kevin Costner is a fine actor (sometimes).

–Colin Baker was a great Dr. Who, but he did not have great stories. But within some mediocre to fair to good stories, he had some great scenes (“No more sunsets, no more gumbojacks… never more a butterfly.”)

**Are You Being Served?** was funny (for its first three seasons–about 20 episodes; 69 episodes were way too many, though)

–Ted Neeley is superb as Jesus Christ, Superstar.

–Hayley Mills really can act (see **The Flame Trees of Thika** ).

–The 2002 version of **The Time Machine** is a fairly decent little flick.

I actually like _Howard the Duck,_ a secret I have never before confessed.

I think _The Nanny_ is the equal at least of _I Love Lucy._ The show _Night Court_ never got the attention it deserved.

When I saw David Lynch’s version of **Dune** in the theater I loved it - but seeing it on TV since then hasn’t been as enjoyable.
