I picked up a bag of Hershey’s mint chocolate kisses yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised. Good balance of mint and chocolate, smooth and creamy when allowed to melt while lodged against my soft palate. Twix are also a personal favorite, as are Mounds, Peppermint Patties, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. ---

Reeses Cups. the best. Also Peanut butter M & M’s. I just love that chocolate peanut butter combination. ---

I found the European versions of Kit Kat, Snickers, and Milky Way to be nasty. Candy should be sweet, those candies were bitter. Yuk. ---

I used to like Chunkys, but anymore I can’t seem to find any except raisin and I don’t like raisins. ---

Some of the best american candies (not Just Chocolate) IMHO are : Skittles Starburst Circus Peanuts Air heads Milky way 100 grand bar the first 3 are a must have. ---

OK. Thanks for all the help. I went to the store today, with all the names from this thread whirling through my head, and it turns out the don’t stock as much stuff as I thought they did. Made it easier on me, I just picked two of everything 😃 If anyone is interested, here’s what I got : 2 x Hershey’s Rally Reese’s Hershey’s 5th Avenue Nestle Butterfinger Hershey’s Whatchamacallit Nestle 100 Grand Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme Hershey’s Crunchy Cookie Bar Nestle Baby Ruth Big Red cinnamon gum I also got a pack of Hot Tamales, and a handful of Hershey’s kisses. Mars bars, Snickers, M&M’s and Milky Ways are all freely available in supermarkets in Australia, so I wanted to get the stuff that they really missed. I hope I’ve at least gotten a few things they’ll like 🙂 Thanks for everyone’s help… and I hope they offer me a piece of that chewing gum, I’ve never tasted cinnamon flavoured gum and the thought is making my mouth water. ---

Snickers “CRUNCHY” bar…damn good! It’s kind of a cross between a regular Snickers and a Reeses and a Nestle’s Crunch, beware this candybar is highly addictive! ---

**Goo** - Never had cinnamon flavored gum? What on earth is your gum usually flavored with? It must be very boring there in Australia 😉 And also, I don’t totally understand your friends’ obsession with American candy. When I was in Britain, I noticed that all of their candy had an American equivalent. I even tried them. Tasted the same…at least to my unrefined taste buds.
