Yes, I am serious, and don’t call me Shirley. Anyway, now that’s out of the way, apart from the classic Airplane and Naked Gun movies what other examples in the genre would you recommend? Hot Shots part one and deux are similar comedy genius and I also liked ‘Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood’, I almost hurt myself laughing at this scene _(careful, some foul language)_ Its pretty subjective, I leant 'Don't Be a Menace' to a friend and he gave it back saying he didn't find it funny in the least \*(I also think he doubted my sanity for recommending it)\* So any other recommendations? ---

Rat Race! John Cleese sends a dozen brilliant comedians on a Jerry Zucker-directed race… oh, and half of them are Oscar winners (watch Kathy Bates try to sell Whoopie Goldberg a squirrel!). [Here’s the trailer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FPN8H9jiXY) – but the movie’s better… And I forgot about the little girl getting her wish and [going to the Barbie Museum (click here for the punch line)!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJMPom6-xmA) And Rowan Atkinson is perfect, and Cuba Gooding, Jr., and… oh, just watch it. ---
