Big Crazy Ex-Girlfriend fan here. I’m fond of the song-and-dance show tunes, so “Tappin’ That Ass” is definitely a winner. But I really have to reserve my top spots to “Settle For Me” and “Got My Head In the Clouds.” ---

I’ve always liked the theme song from [Night Court.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjiWblC_iG8) A neat, funky little cool jazz tune. Rap’s not generally my favorite genre, but a sub-genre called gangstagrass popped up on my radar when [Justified](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAffMSpW8KM) debuted. And while Justified isn’t a comedy, IMO it generally had more laugh-out-loud moments than most sitcoms. Being based upon the works of Elmore Leonard, I think a case can be made for it being a dark comedy. ---

“Baby Boy” from _Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman_ was released as a single in 1976 and reached #3 country and #60 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single was credited to “Mary Kay Place [the actor] as Loretta Haggers [her _MH, MH_ character]”. ---
