Eddie Izzard is the God of Stand-Up Comedians in my universe. I caught the Eddie bug a couple of years ago and have since passed it on to almost everyone I know.

Before I discovered Eddie, Bill Cosby was the funniest man on earth to me. His early 80’s routine “Himself” has to be some of the funniest comedy ever put on film, IMHO.

Let’s see…then there’s Lewis Black, Bob Newhart, Margaret Cho, Mitch Hedburg, Wanda Sykes, Ellen Degeneres…I have a huge list. I’m a big fan of stand-up.

\<slight hijack\>Does anyone know the name of the comedian who does the routine about the cat batting at the toe tag as his owner’s body is carried out of his apartment? It’s obviously way funnier than I make it sound, of course. \</slight hijack\>
