YAM and PANTALOON are my favourite words. I also like spelling words like “favourite” and “colour” with the British u. Is there a word for that? I like YAM and PANTALOON because both are happy words - by the time you finish saying either one, your mouth is already halfway to a smile, so you might as well finish smiling. Plus, the words themself are so great - I mean, a yam? What is that?! It could be so many other things besides an orange tuber. Love Sneeze, who yam what she yam ---

Mmmmm don’t have a positive favorite ONE at the moment…but I shall muse. **Bushbaby!!!** - It counts when you say it as a single word!!! Ever since I found out that the root word is Fascinum, referring (if you go back far enough…) to an ancient wizard who had a penis for a head. That’s right, the original, quintesential dickhead. (used to be able to put spells over people by use of his cute little charm…) Its become the perfect code word at work. Only a few of us know the reason, and if you look it up in a standard dictionary you still don’t get the whole story. So next time you hear someone tell you your plan is fascinating, think twice. ---

If I’m pissed at someone, I call them a dickwipe (gross, I know, but it works quite well). In general conversation I like shiznit, or even fiznuckin’, only because it slows people down when you say it that way. ---

too hard to pick an absolute fav, but “bollocks” and “shite” (pronounced with long I sound) are right up there! they can be used for so many things! “Bollocks to you, mate” “she thinks shes the bees bollocks” or simply, “BOLLOCKS!”. “Oh, shite!”, “what the hell is this shite?”, “this tastes like shite!” “diabolical” is another good one! very descriptive. “oh, man! that spicy tuna roll was diabolical!”, “i cant watch this shitty sitcom. its diabolical.” can’t tell you another one, its my password for all my online shit! ---

I like “toast,” but only when my sweetie says it in his adorable Yorkshire accent. Somehow he pronounces both the o and the a—sort of toAst. Gets me every time. 🙂 ---

_Crapulence_, _mauve_ (pronounced ‘move’, with long O), _thwap_, any word beginning with ‘wr’ or ‘thr’. I like ‘wr’ coumpound because they remind me of rustic medieval scenes, and ‘thr’ compounds are the few compounds that I can get away with rolling my ‘r’. I’ve always loved _zed_, too - it reminds me of some comic-book supervillain. I also am amused by _futon_ - I think “fire futon torpedoes” whenever it’s uttered.
