# FB notifications that 'someone unconnected has commented on my public post'. How to view?

On FB, the cesspool of social media, I got a notifications that ‘someone unconnected had commented on my public post’ . Yet when I click on that notification, all I get is directed to menus to restrict viewers, not to see the comment. How do I see the comment? It might be a new friend /s.
