A few years ago I got a two year long contract in with a big business doing a huge project, and I didn’t understand the level of emailing that came along with the corporate world. I probably got 25 a day, my boss got a 150, and her boss was a scythe chopping through emails like stalks of grain.

It’s true that I don’t have a job where I’m inundated with emails, however I would have thought Hillary had people to weed through them and bring the pertinent ones to her attention. At any rate it’s clear that she saw some of those in question because of her claim that she misinterpreted the “C” designation as being a symbol indicating a paragraph break.

IIRC, she wasn’t testifying that she remembered thinking that. She was asked about the email in the interview and that (or something like it) was her response upon seeing it.

Yeah I’m pretty sure we’re aligned on this subject.

I appreciate you backing me up earlier on the intent thing. It’s baffling how some people who are clearly following along would mock my straight up recount of what has been publicly discussed on the issue.

I’ve read that Huma’s laptop may have 650,000 emails on it. That’s literally more correspondence that any one human being could read in a lifetime, even excluding Carlos Danger’s dick pics.

But if even one of those 650,000 emails has a (c) in the body, the right wing will go apoplectic. Poor Huma.

Actually, you could. Starting at age 5 and reading for 70 years, you only need to read roughly 25.5 emails per day.

Yeah, but only 649,000 are dick pics.

If it’s her personal email account, many of those emails may have nothing to do with work. Many of us have Outlook or Thunderbird as our local email clients and we get emails from many different sources-businesses, friends, family, work, etc. All those emails are saved. Probably 500,000 of those emails are marketing/promotion/coupon emails from various websites she has bought something from.

Serious question;

Given this, and the timing of his latest torpedoing of the Clinton campaign (which has been roundly criticized by Republican leaders)…

Is it at all within the realm of possibility that Comey has been compromised by Russian intelligence? Is he being blackmailed?

> 2. The (c) is required to be in the header of the email. For the emails she received, it was not in the header of the email, it was buried in the body of the email where it was easy to overlook or misinterpret.

She _claims_ they were personal emails, but if they were under subpeona by congress she shouldn’t delete them, and we’d know for sure. Personal, non governmental business should not really be mixed in with official government business and, the reverse is also true, as a lot of people are finding out.

And it needs to be pointed out, the secure, compartmentalized, top secret data and satellite imagery is not in the cloud, and does not (till Clinton, apparently) travel through Yahoo! or Hotmail e-mail.

So in order to receive an email over an unsecured network, _somebody_ had to physically remove it from the state department computers, print it off, photograph it, etc, and strip off the headers and then email it over unsecured networks.

It is not physically or technically possible to directly email classified data from a secure computer system to these commercial accounts.

You posted something that is factually untrue. You said:

> [@](#):
>
> 1. The deleted emails were personal emails which she was not required to provide under FOIA. For example, I just deleted the email notifying me that there had been an update to this thread. Oh noes!.

The deleted emails were work related and should have been captured and subject to FOIA.

Sez the FBI:

> [@](#):
>
> The FBI also \*\*discovered several thousand work-related e-mails **that were not in the group of 30,000 that were returned by Secretary Clinton to State in 2014. We found those additional e-mails in a variety of ways.** Some had been deleted over the years \*\*and we found traces of them on devices that supported or were connected to the private e-mail domain.

Do you believe the FBI is lying when it states that it found thousands of deleted emails that were work related?

The emails deleted by her lawyers were deleted at Clintons behest. That makes it her responsibility.

Additionally, Clinton DID delete emails. From the FBI report:

> [@](#):
>
> \*\*Secretary Clinton periodically deleted e-mails \*\*or e-mails were purged from the system when devices were changed.

[Link](https://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/statement-by-fbi-director-james-b-comey-on-the-investigation-of-secretary-hillary-clinton2019s-use-of-a-personal-e-mail-system).

Yet again, those emails should have been captured. Since Clinton was using an insecure private server, they were not captured as they should have been.

According to the FBI, it is likely emails deleted by Clinton (or her team at her direction) that should be available are gone forever:

> [@](#):
>
> It is also likely that there are other work-related e-mails that they did not produce to State and that we did not find elsewhere, and that are now gone because they deleted all e-mails they did not return to State, and the lawyers cleaned their devices in such a way as to preclude complete forensic recovery.

The basic facts are in the FBI report.[Read it.](https://static01.nyt.com/packages/pdf/politics/hillaryclintonfbi.pdf)
