I do hope that one box marked for the bedroom found the way there. If a foreign agent did find their way to these boxes, they would have to go through so much junk to get to “the goods”. ---

If Smith indicts trump on the Capitol riot charges, that would likely be in DC. Hopefully they can get Loose Cannon off the case, as she has absolutely no business being on this case at all. Were I Jack Smith, I’d file the motion asking her to recuse as soon as possible, then follow the chain up to the Eleventh Circuit if she declined. If my motion is successful, that’s wonderful! And if my motion fails, then at least she’s on notice that every single move she makes in the trial will be challenged and subject to review. That said, I will trust Smith’s judgment in this matter, however he chooses to handle it. ---

Trump, of course, would be reluctant to do that. ---

If Trump splits, I would be concerned about how many classified docs he could take with him. Even if its just on a few thumb drives squirrelled away. They could be anywhere, or in anyone’s possession. And if we can’t bring him to justice, the whole system has failed. ---

Somewhere in all the news coverage of this I heard some folks say that Trump is not a flight risk because he’s among the most recognized people in the world. I’m not sure I agree with their reasoning; people might recognize him wherever he goes, but that wouldn’t stop him from going. ---

For Pete’s sake. He’s not going to run. If he runs he can’t hold rallies. He needs thousands of cheering people more than he needs oxygen. The rallies are coming soon. And he’ll say things that make his 1/6 speech look like the Pledge of Allegiance. ---

They would think it’s just a normal flight to Saudi Arabia. They wouldn’t have to know he was planning on staying, and they can fly back without him. ---
