One additional issue that concerns me with Cannon being the judge is her abuse of her judicial disscretion in determining what is “relevant” evidence that the defendant can introduce. Trump clearly wants the trial to be a circus, and Cannon can certainly make that happen. ---

I saw on Tiktok an item someone posted. Unfortunately I cannot find the news story. Apparently Cannon is not going to handle the arraignment, but might handle the rest of the case. Hmmm. Maybe she’ll get removed altogether. ---

I will predict no large protests today. I think Jan 6th filtered out the vast majority of Trumpers willing to make real personal sacrifice for Trump. Unfortunately, I think lone wolf incidents remain a real possibility. ---

The privilege would be donald’s to waive, not hers. And I agree that it’s not really in doubt, but if a defense is being completely thorough they might file a motion to address the issue, since there’s a part of the indictment that strongly implies that she (or, if not, some other immediate family member) was texting about not having room for the boxes on the family flight to New Jersey. ---
