Great catch! I’m not surprised about the possible new case in another venue based on Cannon’s deference to Trump. But the superseding indictment in Florida is interesting and big news. ---

Yes, and that’s one of the main reasons that most analysts think this is a joke of a defence. But, like I say, I don’t think we even need to get to that level. Imagine I have a document containing the identities of american spies. And then I divulge that information to some randos while holding a cocktail napkin that I say is the document I got the names from. Am I innocent of espionage? ---

Also, the tape shows that he knows that he wasn’t allowed to have classified documents (because he says he’s not allowed to have them). Other, independent, evidence shows that he did have classified documents. Even if those weren’t the same documents, it still adds up to him keeping documents he knew he wasn’t allowed to keep. ---
