He declassified them, and if he didn’t they were planted. Also he was working to give them back, so the raid was fascist. But he didn’t have to give them back, because they were declassified. Or planted. ETA: Also - Hillary! Obama! Sandy Berger! ---

18 USC 1519 is a destruction of evidence in an impending criminal investigation statute, not a PRA / classified records statute. His lawyers were lying when they said that this is purely about the government trying to get its documents back and unrelated to any criminal investigations. ---
