The Justice Department is using the standard government corruption investigative strategy of throughly searching to find the greatest crime that the politician under investigation has committed, and charge him with that. Just like he was a corrupt Illinois governor. In this case, I don’t think it will work, because there are too many Trumpers, in the jury pool, who would love a chance to get him off. He’ll win like he won his impeachment trials. If the Justice Department was more partisan, and thus determined to see him punished, they would be looking for a way to get him in jail without going through a jury.
