For what it’s worth, I believe **Newcrasher** that the eyes in the painting are blue. That would seem to be an absurd thing to lie about.

The thing I want to know is simple:

WHAT IS THE DEAL? Who cares. People of almost every culture can have blue eyes. It’s not like they made Super Aryan Christ in the painting.
