Holy crap, I’m sick of hearing “feeding tube”. Now that Schiavo is about to leave these earthly confines, the feeding tube lobby has infiltrated the airwaves again, by getting the [Pope](http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=578&u=/nm/20050330/ts_nm/pope_dc_14) on a feeding tube. No word on whether they actually call what’s passing through it “holy crap”. ---

I’m starting to call everything a feeding tube. Straw for your soda? feeding tube. Dachtsund eating a bowl of kibble? Feeding tube. Banana? Feeding tube. My pencil? Writing tube. ---

What I hate is when one of the talking heads shortens it to **feed** tube. It just creeps me out for some reason. It’s feed **ing** tube. _I-N-G_. ---

Pssssstt…it’s nickname is PEG. (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy er-tube–so they don’ t use the T!) You could rif on PEG for awhile, if that helps. 🙂 ---
