Wife walks into the room and says, “Did you hear the story about the truck-load of puppies that crashed in New York?”.

It sounds like they are all okay, but, Dammit! Woman! That’s not how to announce something like that!

Pics, 'cause it did happen: [Local – NBC New York](http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Puppies-Rescued-103-Van-Flip-Over-New-York-State-Police-Trooper-Dog-Transport-Mall-411889075.html)

My favorite, predictably, is the cutie in picture #6.

Why was there a truckload of puppies at all? Don’t tell me. Leaving now.

It’s likely she was transporting pups from a high-kill shelter in the South to Northeast adoption centers. We got our two pitties from a North Carolina rescue that sends dogs via the Underground Canine Railroad to NJ and PA.

Article said they were going to pet stores. All looked purebred. ☹

I don’t think “truck-load of puppies” is a concept that should exist.
