Lately, I’m lonely even when he’s here because he has to study for his licensure exam. I try to do group social activities once or twice a week and get into the office one to two days a week, but it does little for the endless hours without anyone to talk to, even cooking dinner is pointless because he’s not home until 9pm at the earliest. This makes my life sound awful, and it’s not, but loneliness is part and parcel of being married to this man because of his career. The times we are together make it worth it. But you, I have seen you overcome so much, and make so many improvements, and you _are_ a catch, and I believe you are going to be just fine. But part of what helps me is learning to be okay with being lonely. It requires daily practice, but if you can learn to tolerate that feeling it’s better. ---
