# Fellow hot weather LOVERS, show some love!

I too, Hate the cold, and can’t get warm at all all winter unless sitting right in front of the woodstove blower. Even then I wear a hat.

But today, man, had me beat. I work outside all day, and this was the hottest day of the year; 97 with a heat index of fubblgety 100 hunnert somethin’. And humid. No breeze.

I drank two gallons of water, and my outgoing piss could have boiled an egg.

And, I really stink, that humid funky stank thing.

Gonna build me a bar in the back of my car,  
and drive myself to drink.

I think the reason I hate winter is that my feet never get comfortable. My toes get cold. I put them near a heat source. They now get too hot and sweat. Now I move them and the sweat gets real cold and never dries. Now my toes don’t warm up until I take a shower. That all takes about 5 minutes.

Sing it!!! Oh yes. I hate, hate, hate humidity but give me the 110 degrees and 4% humidity and I’m a happy girl.

On Tuesday I was supposed to do a dam inspection, but I got to running late and by the time I was free it was after lunch and 100 degrees.

So I went on Wednesday at 8 am when it was only 80. 😃

There is something magical about it, as Ogre said in a previous thread about the beach. I’ll take it any day over snow and ice.
