Haven’t seen “Gigli” and probably won’t, but I know JLo plays a lesbian who becomes hetero for Ben. I did see “Chasing Amy,” in which Ben nails a lesbian. What’s this all about? And would _you_ do it with him?
Okay, started to submit this, then thought maybe I should answer my questions. Don’t have clue one what it’s all about, and NO.

I might note that **fizzy** , who is most decidedly straight, is utterly unimpressed with Ben Affleck. So it seems the general thought is “let J-Lo, or whoever she’s playing, have him.”
The notion of Affleck converting anyone to something more meaningful than paper vs. plastic seems a bit of a stretch to me.

**superstar** , you’re so right! Bebe has had a crush on Rob Lowe for years, it doesn’t bother me a bit, but when I say, “Yum! Sandra Bullock!”, she gets pissed, even though she and Sandra are very much the same type.
And Jessica Lange could convert me if I were straight and she was gay.
What do you think Affleck is thinking about these roles? Do you think he believes he’s juicy enough to seduce a lesbian?

Add me to the ones who are straight and might be converted to the other side by Ben! YUCK–that guy does nothing for me. LOL
Sometimes, the ones who are the most physically attractive are not the best choices for me; it’s more of a total package thing. 😃
Several years ago, however, I had a -huge- thing for Drake Hogestyn, who plays _John Black_ on **Days of our Lives**. I probably watch too many soaps; most of the guys I find really attractive are on soaps, but they’re (usually) not the younger crowd!

I didn’t see “Chasing Amy”, but when it came out all I could think about was how irritated I’d be if I were a lesbian. “See? You just haven’t found the right man yet! Why can’t you be more like Amy?” This friend of mine who’s a gay guy admitted to me that he felt some lust for Jennifer Lopez, so I don’t know how that factors into the discussion.
I think Affleck is kind of toolish. Anybody else think he’s Matt Damon’s flunky? Damon is ten times the actor Affleck is, IMHO.
