People who think that they own the elevator and that the mild inconvenience of having to wait a little longer is more important than everyone else’s desire not to climb the stairs, for whatever reason? They’re worthless hallucinatory shitsacks drowning in the spit-bubbles of their own deluded self-importance. Hypocritical lazy ones too, if they don’t take the self-proclaimed-as-trivial effort of walking up the first three flights of stairs to avoid riding with the casual elevator-using people, thus solving their own problems rather than expecting the other people to cater to their selfishness.

Normally I strongly disapprove of a person who is riding up only one floor pressing all the other buttons too - but it seems to me that if a person as ecomaniacally hubristic as the OP were (alone) in the elevator, such an action would be justified, because assholes of this type deserve to be given the opportunity to revel in their own irrational froth as much as possible. Seriously, they seem to enjoy it. So it would be unkind of the rest of us to deny them their chance to bitch at every opportunity.

Sure, why not? I’m fully on board with equal-opportunity harassment of ecomaniacally hubristic people, assuming you can identify them reliability. (Such persons besides myself, I mean - but then I never decided that other people should get off and walk just because it made my ride slower, so in this case I’m exempt.)

I… can’t believe I made the typo, didn’t notice it, didn’t understand your joke pointing it out, and then in responding made the same type _again_.

I have \*\*obviously \*\*been at work too long today. Time to go home and have a weekend. G’night!

How to identify them? I think I have the answer. It’s that guy who (as the OP hinted) will take a swing at someone for using the elevator, and will wake up on the floor, wondering about “the truck that hit him”. In real life, there is always someone stronger, tougher, or meaner. So, just look for the guy with the lumps 😃

As for me, I don’t swing at people. I don’t want to be That Guy.

Still amused by the distances people will go to avoid admitting that taking the elevator between adjacent or nearly adjacent floors is lazy.

OK, fair enough. I’ve done it. It’s lazy. So what? It’s nobody’s business but mine.
