> I also noticed that Rasmussen was the 2nd most accurate pollster in this election, putting Hillary ahead in the popular vote by 2 points–which was her exact winning margin of the popular vote. ([http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public\_content/politics/elections/election\_2016/rasmussen\_reports\_calls\_it\_right%20](http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2016/rasmussen_reports_calls_it_right%20)) A lot of the other polls got 2016 wrong. Rasmsussen got it exact.
>
> 2016 was the year people should have learned not to trust everything pollsters say. By continually citing polls showing Trump’s supposed low approval rating, they evidently did not learn that lesson.

Since there’s generally a 3 point plus/minus in polls, the [vast majority](http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/president/) were in the ball park.

Hitting the mark exactly is more luck than any polling technique.

If 100% of eligible voters turned out, he very well may have won a majority, or a plurality, of the popular vote. There’s just no way to know. And Rasmussen and Politico polls show him with a respectable approval rating, ranging from 49-51%.

Even Rasmussen has him underwater at 48/52 currently, which is WAY low historically.

> That’s my thinking too, and he hasn’t lied about any of his campaign promises so far, especially as it related to increased rule of law and more enforcement of our anti-illegal alien laws. Just look at the how much more efficient the ICE is now that he’s unshackled them from Obama-era enforcement restrictions. [Immigration Agents Discover New Freedom to Deport Under Trump](https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/25/us/ice-immigrant-deportations-trump.html)

[Consider this article](https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/the-winning-argument-democrats-have-against-trump/2017/03/10/503f4a80-05a3-11e7-b1e9-a05d3c21f7cf_story.html?utm_term=.2d03ca367684), where it points out how quickly the clock is ticking on many of his promises:

> [@](#):
>
> Trump promised “in the first 90 days” he “would immediately start renegotiating our trade deals with Mexico, China, Japan.” Not a single one of these negotiations has begun. He also said he’d “fight for . . . passage within the first 100 days of my administration” for legislation to end U.S. companies’ ability to manufacture goods overseas and import them without tariffs. Again, Trump hasn’t written any plan to do that, let alone asked Congress to pass it.
> …
> Trump promised to stop the loss of jobs going overseas starting on “day one. It’s so easy.” But major manufacturers continue to move jobs overseas in far larger numbers than the jobs supposedly “saved” at Trump’s December photo-op at Carrier, even including jobs at Caterpillar and Nucor, companies represented on Trump’s own job-creation task force.
> …
> Trump promised to fight for passage of a $1 trillion public-private infrastructure plan within his first 100 days. . . .the White House has told allies that Trump likely won’t even send an infrastructure plan to Congress until 2018 — meaning shovels won’t be moving until 2019 at the earliest.
> …
> The list of “kitchen table” concerns on which Trump promised focus and action — “immediately” — in his first 100 days as president goes on: affordable child care, middle-class tax relief, simpler tax forms, savings accounts for elder care and more. But Trump has not offered plans to do any of these things thus far — not one.

I’m stopping quoting here not because the list of broken promises has stopped, but because if I keep quoting the list, I’m gonna run into copyright restrictions. Read the article.

His first 100 days end on April 29th. Do you genuinely see him on track to fulfill his first-hundred-days campaign pledges by then?

Nobody knew that doing these things would be so hard. NOBODY.

I mean, it was obvious that Obama could have done all these things, except he hates America, right? So all that was needed was someone to step in and say “do these things”. And they would be done.

NOBODY could have ever predicted that presidenting would be this hard.

Therefore, it must be someone else’s fault. Probably Obama. Ya that’s the ticket. Obama is still making sure that everything is broken. With his secret army of leftist workers. And his wiretapping. That’s right. That’s it. It’s Obama’s fault.

Now for some reason I want to see a guerilla campaign run against him where a dwarf in an Oompa-Loompa suit just follows him everywhere. Standing directly across from the White House. Showing up at Maralago. Standing across from Trump Tower. No message, nothing threatening, just an Oompa-Loompa everywhere he goes, staring at him.

I guess Rep. Kelly doesn’t realize that Obama could run a shadow government from anywhere in the world as easily as from down the street.
It’s amazing how Republicans still don’t understand technology.

If having a shadow government is so easy, why didn’t George W. Bush just keep running the country after Obama was elected? Seems like the Republicans missed a golden opportunity there.

We’re not “transgenders” nor “a transgender,” the term is transgender persons, transgender men, transgender women, etc. It’s been discussed for thousands of words on this board, and can be easily found by Google.

It’s not just about bullying, it’s about discrimination over bathroom and gym and sport and dress code and innumerable other things regarding public accessibility. It’s about a religious conservative movement to dehumanize and weaponize us, stopping to the shopworn mendacity of “won’t SOMEONE think of the (Jesus-fearing white cisgender) children?”
