The sexy firefighter ( ::sigh:: ) thread got me to thinking – are there any female occupations that are usually filled with sexy women? I’m not thinking “beautiful”, because that’s too easy. But “sexy” - that certain special _something_. Guys? ---

Um..let’s see..I’m usually attracted to gals that are smart and hot, even though they don’t throw out the “I know I’m really fucking hot vibe”. I was just about to say drug reps. Amazing how much that industry has changed. Back in the early nineties I was interviewing for drug rep positions - now they’d quietly chuck my resume in the trash. ---

Musician, especially on a non-stereotypically female instrument. Woman playing piano = nice. Woman playing electric guitar = rowrr. Woman playing flute = nice. Woman playing drums = boinnnngggg! ---

Well, I’m not a guy, but I’ve been told a few times that mechanically inclined women (like maintenance workers) are sexy. I’m not sure why, though. Maybe it’s a confidence thing, and on some level enjoying getting all dirty. ---

We (apocryphally) have something known as the “Gorilla Test” – young female recruits are supposedly put in a tent with the Gorilla. If the recruit runs out of the tent screaming, she gets sent to the Air Force. If the Gorilla runs out screaming, she gets sent to Armored/Infantry/Whatever-branch-of-the-army-is-being-laughed-at-at-the-moment 😃 (with apologies for the obviously misogynistic joke – it just fit here. Please accept it in the spirit in which it was intended [i.e., army bashing :p]) Dani Major (reserves), IAF ETA: Serious answer – I don’t really believe in “sexy occupations.” I never got the thing about women loving firefighters, either. Every man and woman is an individual, and attractive or not on their own merits. ---
