Does anyone have a really light Day 1 and then have only leftovers by Day 6, then have heavy leftovers on Day 7?
Or am I just weird. Fortunately, I don’t experience what by mother wen’t through (cramps, vomiting, diarrhea so severe
she missed a couple days of school each month). I only get mild cramps that can be taken care of with Advil and a
heating pad. However, I get major fatigue starting a couple days before and continuing to the end.

Remember that chick who told us she and her mom made “period prints”? _shudder_

What I hate is the chafing after the second day-and no matter how many times I change my pads (tampons don’t do a lot of good-I have a really heavy flow and I noticed after using the third one that using them was PAINFUL!), I still feel icky and uncomfortable.

I do agree with Hazel in that it is MAJOR surgery, regardless of how it is done. Recovery is easy for some and difficult for others. But I doubt any doctor would consider taking out a healthy organ.

On to reducing or eliminating the ability to experience sexual pleasure … IMHO, absolutely NOT!

“Aftersauce” is making me crack up beyond belief … though I keep picturing A1 steak sauce. Thank goodness I don’t use that product!

sumwunsumwer, you may want to look into finding a doctor you are more comfortable seeing.

I know how you feel - I felt the same way until I found [this](http://www.thekeeper.com/).

I love this thing. Empty it once a day (I empty it in the shower), wash it out, pop it back in, don’t think about it again until tomorrow.

Love it, love it, love it.

I don’t find the blood itself too terribly icky. It’s when I’m cramping and I think about _what’s_ cramping and what’s IN there. . . when the whole works hurts so much, it just makes you feel like it’s some sort of evil alien baby, and after so many repeat performances, I just feel so grossed-out at thinking about the stuff in my tummy.
