Good grief. I thought we’d moved on from “All men are potential rapists!” some time since 1970. If I could be arsed I’d Pit you, **Rilchiam** , but there’s no sense in arguing - we don’t appear to be inhabiting the same reality.

I don’t think it means ALL men are potential rapists, so much as that for women, you can’t assume you’re safe by saying, “Oh, he doesn’t SEEM like a rapist.”

Yes, that is what I meant. And again I say, there’s no one fail-safe method of defense against rape.
