I have to tell you, I often do wonder about things like Fermi’s Paradox and its possible solutions. You seem to be asking if there exists a scientific consensus that resolves the Fermi paradox - the answer is no. There’s no evidence of extraterrestrial life, and thus no basis for consensus; otherwise the paradox would cease to exist
