Feud-ish - Crossword Clues This one is different. I don’t like the common rules, so here’s the rules this time: Go ahead and leave in the questions. [Ignore the phrase “Crossword Clues” above, I missed when touching up the prior rules.] As with the other feuds, when 50 people post there will be a most popular state for each college. Presumably the real answer? And someone will have matched those most popular answers the most often. And they get the gold star. If lots of people guess all of them, then you must pound the gold star into glitter and divide that. I’m not springing for more stars. ---

From other people’s answers, I’m guessing the Washington suggested was WUStL. Makes sense: UW, while referred to as Washington, would make for a really easy answer… plus all the rest of those are private. Guh. Also, Emory is not in the state of Atlanta. It’s in the state of Georgia. :smack: ---

There’s too many Washington schools. I propose that half of them be renamed after Millard Fillmore. George Washington University is in the District of Columbia Washington and Jefferson College is in Pennsylvania Washington and Lee University is in Virginia Washington Bible College is in Maryland Washington College is in Maryland Washington State University is in Missouri Washington State Community College is in Ohio Washington Theological Union is in Maryland Washington University in St. Louis is in Missouri University of Washington is in Washington ---

The Indiana legislature is currently refusing to release funds for certain building projects because the head of the State Budget Committee thinks the school has raised tuition too much for the current academic year. ---
