Cookie Monster’s birthday is November 2. We don’t know what year he was officially “born” but he was first introduced in 1966, 59 years and a little over a week ago.

Horatio Hornblower was born July 4, 1776, according to the earliest book in the series chronologically, Mr Midshipman Hornblower. However, he was born several years earlier than that, on an unspecified date, according to the first book of the series to be published, The Happy Return (also known as Beat to Quarters).

From Sue Grafton’s alphabet series, Kinsey Millhone was born on Cinco de Mayo, 1950 as best as I can tell. It could be 1951 but that’s a lot less likely. Her friend and landlord, Henry Pitt, was born on Valentine’s Day, 1900, again as best as I can tell. It could be 1899 or 1901, but those date’s are a lot less likely.

When I saw the thread yesterday, I thought of Kinsey and realized that was the only fictional birthday I knew. I guess her mentioning Cinco de Mayo helped. (and it helps me remember the birthday of someone in real life)

Which would also be actor William Shatner’s 297th birthday. (Kirk was given the birth date of March 22nd in honor of Shatner’s actual birthday.)
