Chip, the main character in **The Corrections.** He’d be posting in MPSIMS about his sexual escapades between teaching college courses and then asking questions about his dad’s Parkinson’s in GQ. ---

The Pit: Hunter S. Thompson and Ken Kesey are _musts_. Until they passed out cold and posted the random assortment of letters resulting from their heads hitting the keyboard with a resounding thud…Or got banned for giving detailed instructions for manufacturing and/or copping drugs. ---

Almost any of the characters from Spider Robinson’s Callahan series, but if I had to pick only one it would be Jake Stonebender, the narrator. ---

Captain Jean Luc Picard from Star Trek, TNG. He’d be awesome in GQ and GD. Especially about all things re: archaeology. He’d probably make a great moderator as well. I can see him posting a few good zingers in MPSIMS too. ---
