Yeah, it’s happened so many times on the “Law & Order” franchises that every time the investigating detectives or assistant D.A. promise a witness anonymity, I yell “BULLSHIT!” at the screen. ---

Yep, for a line up, it can be anonymous- sometimes, but not to testify.- unless maybe sometimes for a grand Jury. ---
