Can I try to push the door? Or pull it in and out? Or trying to insert something into the slots to knock it loose (maybe my axe?) ---

Certainly no OBVIOUS traps or danger. You enter the northwest corner of a room roughly 7x7x7. It is square and obviously built by some sort of intelligent creature. The quality of stonework exceeds that of any you’ve ever seen. On the east and south walls are torch brackets. There is a door on the east wall. ---
