Fox crashed the feed. !@#%@#%^ They should never get another sport contract of any kind for a 100 years. World Cup final!!! Asshats… Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Was 5-2 and Abby W had just come on field. Final score yet? I also missed the own goal & #5 for the US due to FOX incompetence…Still off line, they lost a whole satellite… Stupid… ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG !!! ---

It finished 5-2. Abby drew a yellow (should have been a red) on a Japanese defender on her first possession, but the US never threatened to score. Rampone came on late and they just ran out the clock. ---

I can’t imagine there’s ever been another major tournament in which both teams in the final conceded more goals than they had in the entire tournament before then. ---

If you turned to Univision 14 minutes in, how did you know what the color commentator was saying about Wambach when she came in the 2nd half? 😉 I thought the commentary was ok. Was it more homer-ific than ESPN’s WC coverage? Of course, but it was alright. I’ve always liked JP Dellacamera as the play by play guy. The color commentary could have definitely been better, but I give allowances due to the fact that a lot of the women doing commentary don’t have the national and big event experience as men have doing commentary (for obv reasons regarding televising the men’s game and women’s game when not at WCs). ---
