I think it kinda sucks that Canada was supposed to be a host nation but didn’t get to play all their games at home. I’m watching this game with French people and they are getting saltier as the game remains scoreless… ---

Had they won the group they would have played another game in Canada. Had they won that game, they would have played yet another game in Canada. So potentially five games in their home country. But the schedule probably could have been tweaked to ensure that, if they finished first OR second in the Group, they would have played in their home country. ---
