Belgium counterattack because Adams can’t complete an extremely simple 10 yard pass. I’ve never seen the US fail at completely rudimentary skills. Not even in the early 2000s when they were starting Pablo Mastroeni and Eddie Lewis. ---

True. Although the starting Belgium 11 all pretty much play for middling European league teams (aside from Trossard and Courtois), which gave me some hope. And I recognize that middling European teams in the top 4 leagues is still several levels above MLS. ---
