Looked like a fair call to award the penalty to me. But that was maybe the worst penalty we’ve seen at this World Cup. ---

Seemed obvious Mbappe saw the slide and threw himself to the ground, dragging his feet. I’m rooting for Morocco so maybe need to take off my glasses, announcers don’t seem remotely conflicted though. Now they’re blaming a long check on Mbappe’s miss, get over it. ---

Okay, I was on my way out of PT (where everyone enjoys watching the WC) and saw Mbappe carrying the ball to take a penalty, and I headed home firm in the conviction that it would be 1-0 by the time I got home. I’m sure something very exciting must have happened. ---
