I think the significant majority of large stadiums in the US don’t have a roof. ---

Well, only about a third of the stadium is roofed, most European football stadiums are covered much better. ---

The closest in English is something like “hoe-lawn”. But all the English speaking commentators/analysts say it like Holland. The same thing happened to the Wranå siblings on Sweden’s curling team. Å and “aa” are pronounced like “oh” in both Swedish and Norwegian, not “ah”. ---

He seems to have adapted his own name to the “English” pronunciation (in that video he notes that in Norway his first name was closer to “ah-ling” but he pronounced it “er-ling”). Probably to avoid confusing people. I think people should just figure it out. It’s not that hard. ---
