Often, a game calms down significantly after a first half like this, but OTOH this might be already the decisive game for the group win, so there’s much at stake.
He’s probably my 4th or 5th best striker of this century. Glad he’s gotten recognition after leaving Spurs.
He’s been a monster and a goal machine (like Lewandowski before him) in all three years at Bayern, and he just kept getting better. It was the right decision for him to go to an even bigger club than Spurs.
Well that was more exciting than Southgate England, that’s for sure. God knows what the final score will be though.
Little statistic on the side: Kane now with 10 goals has equalized with Gary Lineker as England’s most successful WC striker, and will surely break this record during this tournament. Heck, even maybe already in this game, I couldn’t count how many hat-tricks he scored for Bayern already.

What I appreciate beyond the goals is that he puts in 10+km a match and often drops deep to leave space for the wingers and RB (in particular), and he makes these gorgeous long passes to hit someone running into the space that gets created. His touch on long balls in incredible.
Yeah, this, and he’s not too precious to not also help in the defense, he’s everywhere on the pitch. A dream player for every coach.
Massively cheering for England, but even I want Croatia to score again. Such a fun game. Best of the tournament so far.
