That was some strike.
Japan almost scored. This is the best video of the sequence I could find.
Thanks.
Anytime I want to do home repair or updating, my first thought is what would a smirking David Beckham do.
Then, when I realize I don’t have a bunch of money to pay a bunch of people to do shit I don’t wanna do, I do something simpler
Oh, sorry, I was lost in a hydration break there.
The Japan and Tunisia teams are taking a hydration break while Japanese fans wearing sombreros scream along to Bon Jovi’s Living On A Prayer blasting in a stadium in Mexico. I just don’t know what to think of this World Cup anymore.
4-0 Japan, which should put Japan level with Holland on goal differential. But Japan still has to face Sweden while Holland faces Tunisia, which still makes the Dutch heavily favored to win the group. Japan may be headed to face Brazil in the Round of 32.
I only caught the last 15 minutes of the Japan/Tunisia match. I’m surprised it was only 4-0. Tunisia did not look good at all.
I reckon the Brazilians would much rather face the Netherlands than Japan. Brazil v Japan would be an extremely tasty game, especially because Japan beat Brazil in October.
It wouldn’t shock me if Morocco is able to overtake Brazil on GD.
Interesting to see how Spain bounces back today.
I just took a bath in cold water (about 12 degrees celsius), why? Cabala.
See the day before Argentina’s first match our water heater broke, angry and in a hurry I decided to just bathe in cold water, the next day we won 3-0 with a Messi hat-trick.
So the course afterwards was obvious, the day before Argentina plays in the World Cup: Cold water bath!.
The things I do for this team…
The Spain/Saudi Arabia game looks like it’s going to rout. Spain is just dominating shots on goal.
Yesh, Pedri. Dunno if that has to be 2-0, but that’s terrible for that caliber of player.
Lots of distance shots from Spain which seems weird for a team with probably the best close ball control on the planet (Pedri, Olmo, Yamal) outside of Messi. Hangover from their opening game?
I could never be that committed to our team, even if I was superstitious (which I’m not).
Spain could rack up a cricket score at this rate, if they really fancy it. But I suspect they will take their foot off the gas in the second half if they are 3+ goals up at HT.
It would be a bit risky, because if Uruguay runs up the score against Cabo Verde they could face having to beat Uruguay to secure first place.
Spain doesn’t have to worry about GD if they win both games so at a minimum Yamal is going to come out early.
Well that’s the 3+ taken care of (can’t see SA scoring).
they’re already there.
