I’ve got a lot of time on my hands and a limited amount of space since remodeling the basement. So I’ve decided to (try again) and rip all of my CDs and then put them in storage. Since part of this is 1)put CD 2)wait for metadata to pop up 3)hit “import” and 4) repeat over and over, I had some time to wonder what artists I’m missing (last name first, of course). Here’s my list of “B” artists so far: B-52s Bacharach, Burt Bad Plus, The Badly Drawn Boy Badu, Erykah Baerwald, David Baez, Joan Baker, Chet Bananarama Bangles, The Barenaked ladies Bartley, Aidan Bassey, Shirley Bat for Lashes Baxter, Tom Be Good Tanyas, The Beach Boys Beastie Boys Beat Happening Beatles Beautiful South, The Bechet, Sidney Beck Bee Gees, The Bees, The Bell, Andy Belle and Sebastian Belly Beloved, The Benatar, Pat Bens, The Benson, Brendan Benson, Rhian Berlin Bernhard, Sandra Berryhill, Cindy Lee Bessman, Eva Beta Band, The Bettens, Sarah Beulah Bianco, Matt Bice, Bo Big Bad Love Big Country Big Daddy Big Head Todd and the Monsters Big Pig Bikini Kill Bim Skala Bim Bird, Andrew Bjork Black Crowes, The Black Eyed Peas Black Keys Black Rebel Motorcyle Club Black Sweden Black, Frances Black, Frank Black, Gus Black, Lewis Black, Mary Blind Melon Blink 182 Bliss 66 Bloc Part Blonde Redhead Blondie Bloodhound Gang Bloom, Luka Blue Blue Country Blue Man Group Blue Nile Blue Note Blue October Blue Rodeo Blues Traveler Bluetones, The BMX Bandits Bob and Tom Bode, Erin Bogguss, Suzy Bon Jovi Bongwater Bonoff, Karla Bonzo (Doo Dah) Dog Band Boo Radleys, The Books, The Boom Crash Opera Boone, Debbie Booth, Tim Bootie (mash-ups) Boppin’ B Boredoms Bossacucanova Bowie, David Bowling For Soup Boxing Gandhis BR5-49 Bradley’s Robert Blackwater Surprise Bragg, Bill Brainfog Bran Van 3000 Branch, Michelle Brand New Brand New Heavies, The Branigan, Laura Brave Old World Brave, Dick and the Backbeats Bravery, The Breakin’ 2 soundtrack Breaking Benjamin Breeders, The Brickell, Edie Brigadier, The Bright Eyes Brislin, Katy British Sea Power Broken Social Scene Brooke, Jonatha Brooks and Dunn Bros Brothers Creeggan, The Broudie, Ian Brown, Greg Brown, Ian Brown, James Browne, Duncan Browne, Jackson Brubeck, Dave Quartet Buble, Michael Buchanan, Kelly Buchanan, Roy Buck 65 Buckhaven, Katie Buckingham Nicks Bucklew, Wendy Buckley, Jeff Buckley, Tim Buckner, Richard Buckshot Lefonque Burke, Solomon Burns Sisters, The Burrell, Kenny Bush Bush, Kate Busters, The Butler, Richard Butthole Surfers Byrne, David ---

Forgot Jack Bruce. Also, how do you file compilations, like, for instance “Live From Bonaroo”? And some of the Yardbirds put out a couple of albums under the name Box Of Frogs. Don’t know if they were released on CD or not. There may be a lot of those, I didn’t look at any vinyl.
