Fill 'Er Up!

Some gas stations used to have cash-eating machines out among the pumps where you could pre-pay with cash or card. I haven’t seen those for a while, at least not at the chain where I usually get gas.

Note that the concept of “usually getting gas” may become obsolete. With gas at $4.79 now in my vicinity, getting gas may become less and less usual.

Oh brother. I’ve been driving in Oregon for 40 years now and have had nozzle jockeys spill fuel, try to lose my gas cap, drop the nozzle and scratch the paint(crappy old Datsun PU so it didn’t matter)
and walk into my passenger side rear view mirror, breaking it off. He handed it to me and said “Sorry. You can talk to the manager when he comes in but he won’t pay for it.” I can’t wait to pump my own gas.

I am not a moron. Fire the morons and let me do it myself.
