I really like these kind of questions. Actually, I’m finding it pretty freaky how very many of us give the same responses to such a broad range of prompts as we’ve had here. I mean, we are so diverse, so informed, so well-read, in many cases so diabolical; and yet we almost all think “hot as hell” or “slow as molasses”. Perhaps some epistemologist or semiotician will thoughtfully start a thread to explain what it all means!
