I wanted to choke the living shit out of **Faye Valentine** in the **Cowboy Bebop** series and movie. I understand that she had some excuse for being the way she was, but her gambling and self-centeredness irked me. ---

Which I don’t understand because, as I said in the OP, Lauren Holly (thanks to the poster who put a name to the actress) deserves an award for her 10 minute portrayal of an absolute bitch. And I still don’t quite understand what you are trying to say. We should _like_ Giamatti’s character because he’s reprehensible? That makes no sense to me. He is reprehensible. He was written that way. Just because every one of us has it in us to be an asshat doesn’t mean we shouldn’t get angry at a character who absolutely deserves our anger. ---

To the person who mentioned Dolores Umbridge in the **Harry Potter** movies and books: I would also add the Malfoys, both Draco and his father Lucius. I know Tom Felton is a rather attractive young man, and that makes certain fangirls sympathetic toward his character, but the fact is, Rowling created Draco as an evil, conniving little shit, and Felton makes that clear in his portrayal of him. More than once I’ve watched a Harry Potter movie and felt the urge to reach into the screen and beat up Draco for some asshole comment he made to Harry or his friends, as well as the way he tried to get them in trouble with Umbridge in the fifth book and movie. The same goes for Lucius, for his haughty attitude as well as the way he treated Dobby. Still, I enjoyed the scene in **Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets** , in the bookstore, when Ginny tells Draco to leave Harry alone, and she looks as fierce as an 11-year-old girl can, and Draco says something along the lines of “So, Potter, you have a girlfriend now.” I didn’t realize that when I first saw it, but that was what Rowling calls an “anvil-sized hint.” 🙂 I know you’re supposed to feel some degree of sympathy for Draco in book 6, for the way he’s being used by the Death Eaters (I won’t spoil here in case someone on this board still hasn’t read it), but I still didn’t like him. ---

And see while I didn’t like the malfoys they were just bad guys. They did bad guy stuff and then laughed and got away (well you know, not really but humor me here. ) but Dolores was a cold bitch. She did things in the name of good and right even though she knew he was right about he who shall not be named. I disliked them all, I wanted to choke the living shit out of Umbridge! (sorry for the harsh, but I hated her!) ---

I can’t stand Brad Majors or Dr. Scott from The Rocky Horror Picture show. Something about them makes me want to throw stuff at the screen and start yelling, although not in the traditional RHPS way. ---

Kevin Spacey in _American Beauty_. Hey, anyone can have a mid-life crisis but you don’t have to screw up your family (even if your wife is a…female dog) and go lusting after your teenage daughter’s friend. I had no sympathy for him, thought he was creepy and just couldn’t get why the critics raved over this movie.
