Location and scenery is another reason Canada gets a lot of filming.
California looks like California- Vancouver doesn’t.

But I think it’s mostly about money.

For TV, California looks like Korea, and for movies California looks like Utah.

Come to think of it, I’ve got it backwards. Most of the world looks like California, as exemplified in thousands of films. :wink:

I can’t help but think that our lack of a housing crash plays a roll too. We don’t really have a whole lot of people that have been burned in the housing market (recently).
