Hmm, does it go under I for ice or F for floe…

I seem to recall hearing that the filming of “Saving Private Ryan” was very difficult on the actors involved … each said they lost significant amounts of weight, thanks to what amounted to an eight-week version of boot camp.

I know someone who worked on \*\* The River Queen\*\*. Most of you will have been lucky enough not to have heard of it but apparently Samantha Morton(difficult) & Vincent Ward (barking mad) clashed constantly. From memory Vincent Ward was fired but had to be brought back to make sense of the whole mess (& it still didn’t :p) Added to that the weather was awful with constant rain, bad accommodation & difficulty getting paid or even finding out what you (as a crew member) were meant to be doing.

I can remember reading in a local newspaper that the horsemen/women in one of the LOTR movies had to sleep with the horses. Conditions sounded all round terrible but the woman being interviewed had no complaints.
