Got a thing for Hollywood ‘B’ movies (or, uh, movies that are 'B’ish in tone) of the '60s-'80s, for some reason. Here’s a few that I look back on with a rather misplaced fondness: _Tobruk_ _Force 10 From Navarone_ _The Omega Man_ _The Power_ _The Time Machine_ (not the recent remake) _Robinson Crusoe on Mars_ _Fantastic Voyage_ _Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry_ _99 44/100’s Dead_ _The Driver_ _Flashdance_ (I’m so ashamed) _Foxes_ (an earlier Adrian Lyne film with Jodie Foster AND Cherie Currie of The Runaways!) _Charley Varrick_ _Cross of Iron_ _The Gauntlet_ _Mothra_ And a rubber stamp for the previous mentions of _Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink_ and _Destroy All Monsters_. ---

Being a Madonna fan, I am thoroughly cursed in this area. _Dangerous Game_, _Swept Away_ and _Desperately Seeking Susan_ are my Big Three. I loved _Truth Or Dare_ and _A League Of Their Own_ too, but those don’t count since they were actually good, on account of Madonna not having to act and being given a supporting role, respectively. ---

_Romy & Michelles High School Reunion_ _Armageddon_ Any kind of teenage american film, stuff like 10 things I hate abot you, She’s all that etc etc, and most of the Adam Sandler movies. I have no idea why I like these films, but if they’re on TV, i’ll watch them ---

Completely unashamed of loving Labyrinth. David Bowie in tights, how can you lose? No blushes about The Breakfast Club either. Things are starting to get a bit dubious with Young Guns and Young Guns II. But the worst thing to admit is that I liked Titanic ---

Fine, so I love “The Parent Trap.” Both versions. It’s not my fault. Oh, and “Babe, Pig in the City,” “Star Trek V” (hey, it’s better than “The Motion Picture”!), and the movie with Tom Selleck where the woman is accused of murder and does things like shoot him with an arrow. Yes! I love these movies!
