In case you guys haven’t heard the hulabaloo, China’s developing a class-based multiplayer first person shooter called “Final Combat”, which is currently in closed beta.

Okay, whatever, those are a dime a dozen nowadays.

Except this whole mess reeks highly of highly suspect business practices, if not outright plagiarism. FC’s developers are, understandably, tight-lipped about why Final Combat looks so much like a certain popular war-based hat simulator all the way down to the character animations (and apparently there’s reskinned maps from Battlefield: Heroes), leaving the fanbases on either side to explode with ad hominem attacks.

The official page is region-blocked, but there’s a fan-page available at [http://fc.duowan.com/](http://fc.duowan.com/)

Are there Chinese-literate dopers who would be willing to help me smooth out the preliminary translations I wrote up of the flavor text?
