Thank you for the kind words everybody. The presentation is not very fancy, but every time I try and read tutorials on CSS to make the pages look pretty I get overwhelmed. Nothing fancy there. Apologies again to Stranger On A Train especially for the bad photo. But at least he looks happy! Crotalus - I was behind the camera. Lucky for me! Like many people I’m not photogenic. But The Sonoran Lizard King had a picture of me that he posted in the Dopefest thread (see link in the first post in this thread.) Silver Tyger Girl - nice artwork there in your comic strip sample. I think you can do something with that talent of yours. But you need more explosions and spaceships in your comic strip. Maybe some zombots too (zombie/robot hybrids.) Go forth and draw more! Rick - I thought your picture capture the essence of Rick the Doper, it was like a window into your soul. Not true? Same thing for Yeticus Rex and The Sonoran Lizard King - their pictures have distilled their profound natures to their very essence. I never knew that I had such talent as a photographer. Antinor01 - well, he just ended up looking goofy. What can I say. I work with what I’m given. 😉 ---

I was doing it nearly sorta weekly for over a year, then I got bogged down in a storyline, then the host crashed and burned so… I keep meaning to get it up again, but first I have to organize the fonts and remake the templates and… No more spaceships. Some explosions. No zombots. But I did have a ghost and Monty Python references. ---

It’s probably the same effect as hearing your voice on a recording, it just never sounds like you hear it in your head. ---

I think you’re right samclem. You might even get to that picture by clicking on the “home” link on the So. Cal. Dopefest page mentioned in the OP! Of course that picture predates my board sign-up by about a year so it’s almost 10 years old. ---
